Question 1: CKV – taken care of, video is on the Ning website.

Question 2: Final-Edudemic

My two favorite resources from the edudemic site were Skype and Netflix. Not only are these great sites for personal use, there are many ways to use these sites in the classroom. Skype can be a great way to have a presentation or speaker who can not be physically present. Also there are great resources of educational and children TV available that could be utilized in the classroom. These are both great resources to include creativity and diversity into a classroom to keep learning interesting.

Question 3: Final Semester Favorites

My favorite activity by far this semester was the Wordle resource! There are many ways to use this resource in my future classroom; such as a beginning of the year activity with all the students names, vocabulary words, spelling words, and also introducing a new topic to the class. I also enjoyed learning how to use GarageBand on my computer. There will be many ways to use this by creating music or creating podcasts for extra resources to future students. Both of these resources are ones I can foresee myself using in my future classroom. These resources can both help to keep learning fun and interesting.

Question 4: Final Wow Moment

I never knew what a QR code was, so learning what they were and that I could scan them from my phone was a wow moment for me. There are QR codes many different places I go and I can now take advantage of these very easily by scanning with my iPhone. That is a very interesting concept I am excited to explore more about. I also think just looking back at everything I accomplished over the semester is a wow moment as well. I would never have explored this much into technology and now I have more resources to try and incorporate into my future classroom.

Question 5: K12 Online

I watched the clip of “Let’s Get Ripped” on the K12 Online Conference site. These students seem to be very passionate and excited about this subject. The music was upbeat and encouraging. This teaser made me more interested in the topic. They say that Rigor, Innovation, and Passion is the backbone of creating and learning. This is true in many different areas of learning. These students are very encouraged and passionate, that is how I hope I can inspire my future students to be!
